A Happy Halloween~

Fall is definitely in the air. The sun is peeking out and the birds are singing. So Nice!

It's a chilly Halloween morning here in South Texas. I can remember when I was growing up that Halloween seemed to be the start of the Fall season. Everyone was decorating their homes with hay bales and pumpkins. Plus it was about the only time we were allowed to eat so much candy that we didn't want any for about a month. This year my decorating is very limited but I did want to share with you some vignettes that I put together at the last minute.

White Wednesday is upon us once again. As I am sitting down to post this I decide I should get in the mood, so I turn on the Sirius XM Radio and channel in on some Smooth/Contemporary Jazz. How relaxing and soothing to start my day off with such comfort and ease.

O.K. now on the my post. This week's WW consists of some random pics of things around my house. I have been sprucing things up a bit around the house... with Summer almost gone I feel I should be re-arranging my vignettes. Now, I will leave you with some of my favorite things.

"New" Shop Tour~

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting a new antiques shop in Victoria.

Past Time is a lovely little shop that just opened it's doors about a month ago. The name of this store says it all because the minute you walk in the door you literally are taken back in time. Plus, with the soft music playing in the background you are instantly at peace. The owner of this shop full of eye candy is Linda Gregory who is not new to the antiques business. Linda also sets up at La Bahia every Spring and Fall. She has a wonderful eye for putting together the most gorgeous displays and vignettes. I spent the whole morning there with Linda who is the sweetest and most genuine person you will ever meet. I was introduced to Linda thru my good friend Joyce Shillings who also has a special talent in creativeness and decorating. So, if you are ever in the Victoria area, stop by and check out this little slice of heaven!

White Wednesday~

This week's White Wednesday consists of a mix of textures, colors, and styles. Decorating with "White" can go from Shabby Chic to Traditional Vintage. With so many shades of white, mixing it up with cream and taupe and hints of black are just one of my favorite combinations.
